GO Less Plastic!
Giant stopped giving out plastic straws since May 2019.

At various touchpoints across the store where plastic bags are given out to bag fresh products, signages have been installed to encourage customers to use fewer plastic bags.

E-waste bins to encourage recycling
Since 2021, we has partnered with Alba E-waste Smart Recycling and NEA to install e-waste collection bins at various stores, making it easier for customers to recycle household items like light bulbs and batteries.

Each year, these efforts help us collect approximately 4,000kg of e-waste, contributing to a more sustainable future.

These initiatives highlight our commitment to sustainability and reducing its environmental footprint.
